Why higher than typical S3? Our storage pool is 100% SSD. We do not offer a cheaper HDD or cold-storage tier - every byte sits on flash, replicated three times. You pay more per GB, but read/write latency, throughput, and durability match production workloads, not archive use cases.

How pricing works

You set a quota in GB when creating a bucket. You are billed for the quota allocated, not the data actually stored.

FAQ

Yes. The endpoint implements the AWS S3 API via Rook-Ceph RGW. Use any S3-compatible client: boto3, awscli, rclone, MinIO client, or Django Storages.

No. You only pay for the GB quota you allocate. There are no egress fees and no per-request charges.

Yes. You can resize your bucket quota at any time from the control panel. Billing adjusts on the next cycle.

After creating a bucket, reveal your Access Key ID and Secret Key from the bucket detail page in the control panel. Keys are unique per bucket.

Data is stored on Rook-Ceph with triple replication across nodes. Objects are protected against single-node failure by default.

Because the entire storage pool is SSD. Most low-cost S3 offerings rely on spinning HDDs or mixed cold-storage tiers - we deliberately do not. Every bucket sits on flash with triple replication, so latency and throughput stay consistent for active workloads (databases, ML pipelines, media serving, application data) rather than being optimised for archive use. If you need cheap cold storage, this is not the right product. If you need fast, predictable S3 in Romania, it is.
